Many times we are in need of a system restore and or backup of our operating system. If you are a windows user, you definitely would find this useful. I utilize Acronis True Image to backup and restore my system all the time because of virus infections, data file corruptions, and routine good-house-keeping. There are a lot of utilities and programs out there but I chose Acronis because it has worked for me and has never failed (knock on wood) me once. In this short video tutorial, I will be outlining and demonstrating to you on how to properly setup and backup of your operating system. Turn up the sound!

SmartFTP Setup

A lot of times you need an ftp to transfer large files over the internet. My choice of ftp clients include only smartftp. It’s my fav out of many because of the user interface and the short learning curve. I don’t do anything special so smartftp has more functions than I’ll ever need. I have attached a video for you to view the setup.

Converting Your Images On Your Desktop

Many times you want to share your fotos with friends and family but uploading direct images from your digital camera can be a hassle because the files are large and not very portable. I use a program call EAsy Graphic Converter and it works wonders! You can convert your photos simultaneously without having to lift a finger during the conversion process. Sure, you can upload them on fotolode.com the way they are but you’ll end up having to sit there to wait for uploading. That’s a real hassle if you ask me! Convert the images to reduce the file size and then upload them onto fotolode. I’ve compiled a video for everyone to see how easy it is to convert your own images below. Please maximize the video for quality viewing.

I would like to have the blog community insert their blog posts into their user categories and also a community category listing located on http://bdirectory.fotolode.com. This not only improves their blog but also allows more accurate placement of their specific blog post to be more readily and more efficiently available to the many blog readers and viewers out there!

I’m currently coding this feature into wordpress to allow users access to their fotos within fotolode. Users would be able to access their photos in the image upload interface. I originally wanted this and it’s currently being worked on and I’m hoping it will be done in a few days time. Here is a foto of how it should look like once completed:

This should make inserting of photos easy and a snap!
