A lot of times you need an ftp to transfer large files over the internet. My choice of ftp clients include only smartftp. It’s my fav out of many because of the user interface and the short learning curve. I don’t do anything special so smartftp has more functions than I’ll ever need. I have attached a video for you to view the setup.

Many times you want to share your fotos with friends and family but uploading direct images from your digital camera can be a hassle because the files are large and not very portable. I use a program call EAsy Graphic Converter and it works wonders! You can convert your photos simultaneously without having to lift a finger during the conversion process. Sure, you can upload them on fotolode.com the way they are but you’ll end up having to sit there to wait for uploading. That’s a real hassle if you ask me! Convert the images to reduce the file size and then upload them onto fotolode. I’ve compiled a video for everyone to see how easy it is to convert your own images below. We had to make some changes to fotolode to work with wordpress to allow sharing of cookies btwn the two systems. So if your links to your photos do not work, they will work if you take out the “www”. For example: http://www.fotolode.com/user/image.jpg should be rewritten as http://fotolode.com/user/image.jpg. Thanks everyone!
